Thank you Concord Baptist Church Youth Group for the donation of school supplies for our students!

CCES recently received a donation from the Chase City Lioness Club. Each grade level received a monetary donation to purchase supplemental supplies for their classrooms. Pictured are Fred Taylor, CCES assistant principal, Faye Myrick, representing the Chase City Lionesses, and Hilda Puryear, principal of CCES. Thank you Lionesses!

Mrs. Marta Gonzalez-Hipps, music teacher at Chase City Elementary, was recognized at the August school board meeting. During the open session of the monthly meeting, the board complimented Mrs. Hipp's on her accomplishments and dedication to the students at CCES, including directing the fifth grade Save the Music band, leading the fourth grade choir, and writing books for children. Congratulations Mrs. Hipps...we are proud of you!
